Rangers winger Ryan Kent has been named PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year to cap off an impressive season on loan with the Gers with Alfredo Morelos winning the Goal of the Season award.
The on-loan Liverpool ace beat Aberdeen’s Lewis Ferguson and Motherwell pair Jake Hastie and David Turnbull to the award, which is voted on by his fellow professionals.

Kent winning the award makes him the first Rangers players since Danny Wilson in 2010 to win it.
Despite picking up the Young Player of the Year award, Kent missed out on a rare double of Player and Young Player of the Year as Celtic’s James Forrest picked up the main trophy.

Kent has made 41 appearances, scoring six times and contributing nine assists during his time at Ibrox.

The Colombian scored a fantastic goal after he controlled a pass from Kent then deftly curled the ball around an Aberdeen defender with a sublime side-footed finish into the far corner leaving the Dons’ keeper utterly helpless.
Morelos has hit the net 29 times this season but he’ll not score many that come close to his strike at Pittodrie in February.
