Liverpool loanee Ryan Kent claims that there is “a possibility” he will remain at Rangers next season.
The flying winger was recently announced as one of a four-man shortlist for Player of the Year. His form has Rangers fans desperate to see him at Ibrox again next year.
Kent has also never been shy about saying he is happy at Ibrox [originally Evening Times]. And now it looks like there’s a real chance he’ll be lighting up the Scottish Premiership for a little longer at least.

Ryan Kent’s superb form for Rangers hasn’t gone unnoticed down south. The flying winger was reportedly the subject of transfer interest from the likes of Fulham, with a reported £12m price tag apparently pricing Rangers out of the race for his signature.
The player also signed a long-term contract at Liverpool in 2017 which ties him to the club until 2022.
The hope for Rangers is that both the Steven Gerrard connection at Liverpool and Ryan Kent’s happiness at the club can convince the Reds to let him stay another year on loan at Ibrox.
The benefit for the Anfield side is the continued development of a talented loanee. Whilst they theoretically could cash in on the player at the end of this season, another flying season in Rangers blue will both increase his value and develop him further.

In that event, Liverpool could demand more money for his services, or promote the talented 22-year-old into the Liverpool side.
Kent’s comments suggest that this is a real possibility and it’ll have Gers fans excited at the prospect.
