Hamza Igamane might’ve done everything he could on the road for Rangers but it was yet more away day disappointment against Hibs in the Scottish Premiership.
The Moroccan striker, 22, has burst onto the scene at Ibrox in recent weeks and has made the troublesome Rangers ‘number nine’ berth all his own.
Starting against Hibs, Hamza Igamane banged in a perfect hat-trick but it wasn’t enough as Rangers’ defensive deficiencies left goalkeeper Liam Kelly raging at full-time.
The 3-3 draw means Rangers drop 13 points behind in the Scottish Premiership with Kris Boyd insisting any goodwill from the win over Celtic has now vanished.

Rangers fans laud ‘magnificent’ Hamza Igamane
Rangers fans were furious come full-time but had plenty of positives to say about man of the moment Hamza Igamane.
Hamza Igamane is a bit like a Ferrari in a council estate parking lot amongst the wreckage of busted Skodas that is the Rangers squad at the moment.
The striker has a lethal touch and finish, whilst his expert positioning ensures he turns up inside the box time and again.
Igamane’s got great upper body strength, a superb touch, and he’s also a skilful and talented player on the ball to boot.
Naturally, Igamane’s progress has raised some fears amongst Rangers fans that other teams might be looking this January.
Despite the perfect hat-trick, one Rangers fan feels sorry for the striker who won’t get the credit he deserves due to the ‘fickle mentality’ of his teammates.
Another claims that the striker is doing everything he can to ‘carry the team’ at the moment with Rangers a flapping mess defensively.
One even tipped Hamza to go further than the one and only Alfredo Morelos, the Moroccan having a ‘far better attitude’ than the Colombian.
Hamza Igamane developing ‘faster than predicted’
Philippe Clement was also asked about the form of Hamza Igamane following Rangers’ spirit-crushing 3-3 draw with Hibs at Easter Road.
The Belgian manager claims that many believed it would take a year for the hitman to reach the Rangers first-team but commended the club’s coaches for his rapid development at Ibrox.
Philippe Clement is also just glad that the transfer has finally been justified after being grilled about the hitman earlier in the season.
”I get a lot of questions in the beginning of the season why we did that transfer,” Clement told the press at full-time.
“So it’s good that people see why now, and it’s somebody who’s really hungry to become better.
“He made giant steps the last three, four months, technically, tactically for sure, and even more physically, to cope to the rhythm that we play here in the league, to cope also to get more playing minutes, to be able to do that.
“So it’s exciting to see a young guy, where we knew he had a lot of talent, but there was a lot of work to do with.
“I had a lot of contact with people in Morocco about that before we signed him, and everybody said he will need at least one year to be a starting XI player.
“So he’s taking faster steps than people predicted.”
