Rangers seem to get a few players back fit and available for games only to lose others to injury with Philippe Clement rarely able to name the same team two games in a row.
The Gers boss has cut a frustrated figure at times fielding questions about his squad as he looks to bring more robust players into Ibrox.
One such player appears to be Mohamed Diomande as the Rangers board looks to give Philippe Clement the tools to challenge on all fronts, however, the arrival of the Ivorian could spell the end for one former key player.

By removing injury prone players from the squad, there is more than one benefit.
Wages can be better put to use.
A place in the squad can be freed up for players who are available more often.
Less stress is placed on a smaller group of players to always be available and play more minutes.
We’ve seen it before, it becomes a vicious circle when the same players have to play every week.
Not only do they lose sharpness but they, subconsciously, know that their form doesn’t affect whether or not they will get picked.
Speaking before Christmas, Clement was clearly not happy about constantly having to deal with players breaking down.
“I’m a little bit fed up but I need to speak about it. I don’t know, we’ll see the day after and then it’s another game again.
“We take it day by day what the situation is and what the fitness of the players is.
“It’s difficult to plan in advance so I’m living from day to day.”
What this could mean is that Rangers signing someone with Mohamed Diomande’s profile and for a reported £4.5m could spell the end of Ryan Jack at the club.
Jack might be home grown, but this quality is almost irrelevant if he is missing for most of the season.
An academy player can be promoted to fill the gap that he potentially leaves behind because, after seven years, it simply doesn’t add up to give the Scotland international another contract.
With Rangers close to signing Mohamed Diomande, it is the latest indication that he might not be long for this parish.
