The last thing that Rangers need in the middle of a rebuild is to lose the only players that they have been able to rely on this season.
Nicolas Raskin has been a standout all campaign and his breakthrough with the Belgium national team will see even more clubs sit up and take notice.
The 24-year old is keeping out players with £50m plus transfer fees attached to their name.
Another loss will be the guaranteed departure of Vaclav Cerny, especially when he leaves just Rabbi Matondo and Ross McCausland as wingers with senior experience and Oscar Cortes hoping just to stay fit for more than a few weeks.
To make matters worse, Hamza Igamane is now being linked with a move to Ligue 1 and to Strasbourg, part of Chelsea owner Todd Boehly’s BlueCo multi-club model.

Hamza Igamane linked with Rangers exit
According to French journalist Mohamed Toubache-Ter, Igamane is a player who is being considered to lead the line as the set their sights up the table and to compete in Europe next season.
At 22-years old, Igamane is still relatively inexperienced at an elite level with Philippe Clement infamously holding the Moroccan back until he was up to speed.
It is easy to forget that at 16, Igamane wasn’t in an academy and was still playing at a level equivalent to amateur or even Sunday league before being spotted.
After gaining his first senior cap for Morocco this season, the sky is the limit for a player with lofty ambitions and who for Rangers will always only be a stepping stone.
Should Rangers cash in, if so, for how much?
Stewart Robertson famously valued Alfredo Morelos at £20m, a fair price given his impact in Europe and his presence in star-studded Colombia squads.
An offer of £16.25m from Lille was rejected, with a global pandemic hitting the transfer market hard and Rangers’ chances of cashing in.
Morelos’ form then nose-dived after injury and the rest is history.
Igamane has a long-term contract, and a similar price-tag is not unreasonable given what Celtic got for players like Jota and Matt O’Riley.
However, Strasbourg’s biggest transfer fee is just under £17m for centre-half Abakar Sylla.
Rangers don’t have to sell this summer and know that Igamane is only going to get better as he adapts and has a full pre-season under his belt.
Knowing when to sell is a key component of a successful player trading model, but that time isn’t now.
