Rangers are keen on signing new centre-backs this summer, and have been linked with Casper Widell and Luke Graham, among others.
Dan Purdy has made personal checks on Graham, who could be leaving Dundee in the coming weeks.
Widell is currently at Dutch club Excelsior and has caught the interest of the Light Blues going into the transfer window.
How much should Rangers pay for Luke Graham? 🤔
His contract at Dundee runs out next summer…
Rangers have tracked Casper Widell all season
According to Rangers Review journalist Chris Jack, Widell has been on the club’s radar for a while, and they have tracked him this past season in the Netherlands.
The 23-year-old was a regular for his club, making 34 appearances in the league for them.
The Gers are not the only club interested in signing the Swedish centre-back, as he has been linked with Blackburn Rovers and Derby County.

Along with Widell, Graham continues to remain a target for Rangers, with them hoping to secure his services ahead of the other teams.
Dundee boss Steven Pressley has admitted that there are several clubs monitoring the 22-year-old, but that the club are in no rush to sell him.
Personal terms are not expected to be a problem for the Scottish defender, but there is a feeling that he fancies a move to England this summer.
Who is the worst-ever Rangers manager? 🤔
We think it cannot be anyone else except Russell Martin!
Why is Danny Rohl keen on signing Widell?
There has been a lot of talk about signing leaders, and in Widell, Rangers will be getting that, as he is the captain of his club.
Along with that, he is a towering presence, standing at 6ft 4in, and is also good with the ball at his feet.
This will allow Danny Rohl to implement a better structure to play out from the back, helping his team control games.
Widell is known for his positioning and aerial dominance, and prefers playing on the right side of defence, making him ideal to partner Emmanuel Fernandez.
He is also a good tackler and is not rash with his challenges, unlike some centre-backs Rangers have had in the past.
