Rangers are understood to be hot on the heels of Dundee defender Luke Graham ahead of the summer transfer window.

Dan Purdy has already scouted Graham in the Scottish Premiership, with the Gers keen on securing his services.

Dundee manager Steven Pressley has already name-dropped Rangers when talking about the defender’s future, as a summer exit could be on the cards.

Dan Purdy once again scouts Luke Graham ahead of potential transfer

According to the Daily Record, the Gers Technical Director is continuing to keep tabs on the 22-year-old centre-back.

Purdy scouted Graham in the international break when the defender was in action for the Scotland Under-21s.

He played in a goalless draw against the Czech Republic side, and Purdy watched him live as he kept a clean sheet.

The Scotsman has impressed in the league as well, which has led to him being in demand at a number of clubs.

Portsmouth even made an attempt to sign him in January, but failed in their efforts to secure his services.

Clubs in Europe, as well as the MLS, are keeping tabs on him, so Rangers will be in a battle to seal his transfer.

However, they do seem to be extremely interested and all the reports they have received thus far have been positive.

Danny Rohl has lost just one league game as Rangers manager…

If YOU were to change one thing about his management style for next season, what would it be? 🤔

Will Rangers table a bid for Graham?

Rangers know that they are not the only club keeping close tabs on the young Scottish defender.

Graham has already proven himself in the Scottish Premiership, and that is something that will draw other clubs towards him as well.

At 22, he still has his best years ahead of him, so an investment not into the player he is today, but his potential, would make a lot of sense.

Dundee turned down a £1.5m bid from Portsmouth in January, and given the interest in his services, will undoubtedly be demanding more in the summer.

There is a high possibility that towards the end of May, the Gers will launch an official bid for him.

They may run a few more scouting missions before the decision is made, but this one appears to be backed by Danny Rohl.
