Rangers are little over a week out from the transfer window opening and big moves are expected in and out of the club in January.
Gers manager Philippe Clement insists the club’s recruitment team have identified areas of concern and are ready to swoop for targets as soon as news of the club’s budget drops.
It comes with Rangers attracting £8m of fresh investment heading into the winter with all eyes on how much the Rangers manager gets to spend on the team.
Here’s the latest transfer news surrounding Rangers ahead of Christmas.

Rangers hunt new centre-back
A new centre-back is believed to be top of Philippe Clement’s Christmas wishlist given the injuries to Neraysho Kasanwirjo and John Souttar.
Reports have suggested that Rangers are targeting a new defender but so far there has been nothing concrete with regards who the Ibrox side might target.
One player who was linked to Rangers was FAR Rabat defender Hatim Essaouabi, a Moroccan centre-back who plays for Hamza Igamane’s old side.
But according to the Rangers Review, those reports are believed to be wide of the mark, as are suggestions Rangers are forging a link with the Moroccan club.
Rangers pair heading for exit door
Rangers are also assessing potential outgoings this January as Philippe Clement and Nils Koppen continue to reshape the club’s squad.
As part of that, players on the fringes of the squad who have not managed to break into Philippe Clement’s plans could be shipped out next month.
Amongst that number includes academy graduates Alex Lowry and Adam Devine, who are reportedly ‘free to leave’ next month.
Both players made the breakthrough at Rangers in recent seasons but have struggled for minutes or to make a tangible impact on the first team.
Rangers linked to Northern Ireland midfielder
Finally, Rangers have been linked with a move for Isaac Price ahead of the January window.
The Northern Irish international midfielder, 21, currently plays for Standard Liege in Belgium with reports suggesting Rangers have asked for a dossier on Price.
The Ulsterman netted a hattrick for the nation earlier in the UEFA Nations League campaign and the links certainly turned the heads of Rangers fans.
But with the Ibrox recruitment team tight-lipped about who they’re targeting, reports in Belgium have played down those Rangers links to Price.
Standard’s manager Ivan Leko is also relaxed about Price’s situation.
