Rangers fans are already casting glances towards the January transfer window as Philippe Clement prepares to strengthen his squad at Ibrox.
Rangers have identified several key positions in the club’s squad which need strengthening with moves expected in and out of the club next month.
There have already been plenty of links to Rangers too, with the Gers reportedly building a transfer dossier on Northern Irish midfielder Isaac Price.
But after doubts were cast on Rangers’ interest in Price, Standard Liege manager Ivan Leko has broken his silence over the 21-year-old’s future.

Standard boss responds to Isaac Price reports
Standard Liege boss Ivan Leko has used Isaac Price extensively this season but the Northern Irish midfielder has faced criticism for his lack of contributions from midfield.
Whilst Price has been banging in hat-tricks for the Ulstermen, the midfielder is still without a goal or assist from the middle of the park in the Pro League this season.
With reported interest from Rangers and the English Championship, Leko has been grilled on the future of Price and insists he’s ’not afraid’ of January suitors poaching the midfielder.
It comes with the Croatian manager being fully aware that the midfielder needs to contribute more in the final third in he’s to reach his potential.
Ivan Leko on Isaac Price
”I’m not afraid of losing him in January because I’m not busy with that now,” said Leko, as quoted by the Glasgow Times. “I’m only focused on the Mechelen match on Thursday.
“Isaac brings stability to the collective structure. Of course, a No.8 must also, ideally have maybe three goals and three assists this season and he has none. He lacks that, and he knows it.
“But we must not forget his age and the context in which he is evolving.
“I have no doubts about his potential. He is an excellent football player, we must give him a little time.”
Isaac Price came through the youth ranks at Premier League Everton before moving to Standard Liege in the summer of 2023.
Rangers were also linked with Price last summer but it appears talk of a January swoop from the Ibrox club has been short lived.
