Rangers are interested in landing Isaac Price but look set to miss out on signing the Everton talent this summer.
The Gers have plenty of work to do this summer and especially in midfield.
Steven Davis, Scott Arfield and Ryan Jack are all out of contract this summer.
Rangers need to find some new energy in the middle of the park and they seemingly identified a potential addition.
The Liverpool Echo report that Rangers have been showing an interest in signing Everton midfielder Isaac Price.
The 19-year-old is out of contract this summer and looks set to leave Everton rather than pen a new deal at Goodison Park.
However, a move to Ibrox is looking unlikely.
That’s because Price is thought to be closing in on a move to Belgian side Standard Liege.
That means Price is set to join Ronny Deila and possibly take Nicolas Raskin’s place in the Standard midfield ranks.

Isaac Price has been highly rated at Everton
Price, 19, has been a part of the Everton ranks since the age of just seven.
The midfielder has played in two Premier League games for Everton and made his debut on the final day of last season.
Price has impressed this season, bagging three goals and three assists in 20 Premier League 2 games.
Hailed as ‘excellent’ by former Everton winger Anthony Gordon, Price has been considered as one of the top talents in the Everton ranks.
Michael O’Neill has been suitably impressed too, calling Price up for the senior Northern Ireland squad in March.
Price picked up two caps and made his Northern Ireland debut as a substitute against San Marino.
Maybe Rangers will starting looking into Premier League development squads for first-team players as Price could have been a great talent to develop.
Sadly for Rangers, Price won’t be heading to Ibrox this summer – barring a stunning turn of events.
