Rangers are set to get an up close and personal glimpse of Aberdeen man of the moment Bojan Miovski.

The Montenegrin striker, 24, has been pointed towards Rangers by the likes of ex-striker Kris Boyd and his 10 goals this season have turned a few heads in Scotland.

But whilst there’s been nothing official to suggest that Rangers might tempt Aberdeen, the Ibrox side are going to see what all the fuss is about at Pittodrie this weekend.

Rangers are of course well versed with Bojan Miovski given the Aberdeen striker played against the Gers four times last season, scoring on the Ibrox club’s last trip to Pittodrie.

The Gers will be hoping to avenge both that result and the 3-1 Ibrox defeat which spelled an end to Michael Beale’s tenure.

In order to do that Rangers will have to overcome Bojan Miovski who certainly looks to have been a strong signing for Aberdeen.

Netting 18 goals in total last season, the former MTK Budapest hitman’s ten so far this campaign means he’s on track to better that tally.

Rangers might have been more closely linked to Lawrence Shankland during the international break but Bojan Miovski has found himself in the discussion.

Having turned out in a 1-1 draw between Montenegro and England during the break too, Bojan Miovski is an international striker and certainly making waves at Aberdeen

Rangers to face Dons

Rangers are set to visit Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership in a match which kickstarts a run of 12 games in 37 days.

It’s going to be a hectic schedule and the Rangers squad will hope to continue their strong start under Philippe Clement when they visit Barry Robson’s Dons.

Much of the pre-match preamble has concerned Aberdeen’s abject 6-0 defeat to Celtic before the break, which had Kris Boyd questioning their approach to each side of the Old Firm.

Aberdeen captain Graeme Shinnie insists that the Dons don’t raise their game for Rangers and Philippe Clement’s team will be hoping to do some damage in the northeast.
