Rangers star Alfredo Morelos has sent a defiant Instagram message amid fears that he has already played his final game for the Ibrox club.
The Colombian firebrand took to social media with the caption “cada día mas fuerte” which translates as “stronger everyday” in an apparently defiant response to being dropped from the Ibrox side.
Posting on his Instagram story, it’s clear that Alfredo Morelos’ confirmed Rangers exit is not getting the striker down as his six-year spell at the club rolls to an end.
There’s something of a sour taste to Morelos’s final few months at Rangers, as Michael Beale confirms that El Bufalo will leave at the end of his contract.
But it appears the 26-year-old is hoping to bounce back stronger amid albeit unconfirmed links to the likes of Fenerbahce in Turkey.
Alfredo Morelos posts Instagram message as Rangers exit beckons
While Rangers still have three games left of the Scottish Premiership season, there are fears that the striker has played his final game for the club.
An unused substitute in the 3-0 victory over Celtic at the weekend (meaning the Buff has played his final Old Firm derby) represented a sore one from Beale to the striker.
The Rangers boss has been audibly upset at the striker since returning to the club and slammed the Colombian’s lack of energy in a recent 1-0 victory over Aberdeen.
However – and despite not involving him against Celtic – the Rangers boss appeared to suggest there could yet be a final appearance in the Light Blue for Morelos.
“There’s no issue with me and Alfredo, we’ve been on the same page for quite a while,” said Beale.

“We’ve had a long relationship spanning four, four-and-a-half years and there are no issues whatsoever.
“When he plays well he gets praise. It’s important that I’m honest in my feedback to him.
“It’s nothing more than that. Last week he came on in the game and wasn’t his usual self. He was frustrated as well as everybody else.”
In total, Morelos has made 268 appearances for Rangers, scoring 124 goals and laying on 58 assists, with fans struggling to come to terms with the fact we might have already seen an Alfie knee slide for the final time.
