Rangers have contacted Dundee United midfielder Jeando Fuchs regarding a potential transfer deal as his contract runs down at Tannadice.
That’s according to the player himself, who was speaking to French outlet Foot Mercato regarding his future.

A Cameroonian international and only 24, Jeando Fuchs grabbed the attention of Rangers fans earlier in the season after some inspired midfield displays for the Arabs.
In particular, Fuchs was on superb form to nab a point from Celtic at Parkhead and amid strong links between Glen Kamara and the Premier League, Gers fans were asking the question.
Fuchs certainly fits the profile of a cost-effective Scottish Premiership move, especially considering his availability on a pre-contract, but there has never been any concrete reports linking the Gers.
Until now.
Jeando Fuchs claim Rangers are one of a number of clubs interested in his services
Interestingly, it’s the ex-Sochaux player himself who claims both Rangers and Old Firm rivals Celtic have made enquiries whilst he also claims there’s interest from the English Premier League and Europe.
“I am at the end of my contract in May,” said Jeando Fuchs.
“I’m waiting to see something concrete and see if I have a choice to make at that time. I am not in a hurry.
“We are well place, we are having a good season. I don’t want to jump into another quagmire and regret again afterwards.
“There has been contact with Blackpool, Peterborough and Wigan. Stuttgart have taken information since the summer.
“There has been from Celtic and Rangers as well, but nothing more. A Premier League club as well. England would be good.
“There is interest, but nothing really concrete. I don’t really feel like people in France are watching Scotland.
“But I’m not against the idea of going home. It all depends on the project.”

Signed by United back in October 2020 on a two-year deal, in his second year Jeando Fuchs has now settled in Scotland and looks like a smart acquisition.
Rangers have previous for plucking intelligent, possession-based midfielders from the City of Discovery with Glen coming from Dundee in January 2019.
Kamara very much remains the top midfielder of that style in Scotland and whilst Jeando Fuchs might be interested in Rangers, it’s likely to be a while yet before we see that changing.
