Rangers are set to have a busy summer with new players needed throughout the team and changes afoot behind the scenes.
The San Francisco 49ers takeover is imminent with transfer guarantees sought by the outgoing board with the hope that funds will be provided for the new Rangers manager.
Barry Ferguson has been backed by Lee McCulloch as a potential long term solution, but whoever gets the job will be wanting reassurances.
One thing that they will be wanting is a stronger and more balanced Rangers squad than those who have succeeded Steven Gerrard.
The best way to start the rebuild would be to sign Vaclav Cerny with The Rangers Review providing an update on the chances of the Czechia winger staying at Ibrox.

Rangers make steps towards signing Vaclav Cerny
Cerny signed from Wolfsburg on loan, but at the time there was no indication of any option or obligation to buy.
For those that feared Abdallah Sima couldn’t be replaced, the 27-year old has gone one better.
More goals, more assists, more appearances – they say never to fall in love with a loan player, however, Rangers fans have done it three years in a row.
An attacking trio of Malik Tillman, Abdallah Sima and Vaclav Cerny would be a wonderful, if not expensive thing.
According to The Rangers Review, a rumoured £5.5m exclusive option to buy clause for Cerny is exactly that, only a rumour.
There is though, some good news, Rangers are “exploring” signing Cerny on a permanent deal.
Does Cerny want to stay at Rangers?
Given his form for club and country, Cerny is in demand, but the proposition of staying at Rangers is one that he has addressed already:
“I definitely do,” he said when asked if Rangers are a club where he could see himself continue his career. “But there are so many aspects that I can’t control. All I can do is be the best I can and keep up my form and numbers.
“There’s no time for that, we play every three days,” Cerny continued on the subject of if there hd been any talks.
“I don’t have an option, that’s the only official one. I don’t know what will happen.”
Never fall in love with a loan player…..
