Philippe Clement and Nils Koppen have been hard at work in their attempts to fill the sizeable gaps left by a number of high-profile departures including John Lundstram, Connor Goldson, Ryan Jack and more.
Both had to ensure that the summer’s business was nothing like what Michael Beale presided over in 2023 when he splurged almost £15m on new signings.
