Rangers have been linked with a number of right-backs this summer, including Blackburn Rovers’ Ryan Alebiosu.
Alebiosu will likely be available at a cut-price deal this summer given Blackburn’s struggles in the Championship.
Rangers are eyeing other right-backs as well, with the 24-year-old being among the names considered.
A four-man shortlist has been drawn up to replace James Tavernier…
We believe Hampus Skoglund is the ideal candidate. Let us know what you think!
Blackburn Rovers want between £3m and £5m for Ryan Alebiosu
Blackburn are willing to part ways with the Nigeria international this summer for a fee between £3m and £5m, according to Sportsboom.
Along with Rangers, the likes of West Ham and Genoa are also keeping close tabs on Alebiosu’s situation.
The Light Blues are said to be the club making significant progress towards securing the right-back’s services.

It has been claimed that they are expected to reach an agreement with him on personal terms.
They are preparing to make an offer as he has emerged as a priority transfer target for them this summer.
Of all the teams linked, Rangers are said to be the most likely to secure his services.
Which right-back would you prefer at Rangers?
There is a chance that two new right-backs may be signed…
Is Alebiosu better suited to Rangers than Bryan Reynolds?
Bryan Reynolds is also high up on Rangers’ radar, and it seems like the club will sign either him or Alebiosu.
As things stand, it does seem like Alebiosu is the better fit currently based on tactical balance and form this past season.
The Blackburn defender offers more defensive solidity than the American defender.
The fact that Emmanuel Fernandez, his Nigerian compatriot, is also at Ibrox would help him adapt better.
What do you make of Bryan Reynolds joining Rangers?
He appears to be a clear upgrade on Dujon Sterling! 💪
Alebiosu also has experience playing in the Scottish Premiership, as he had a loan spell at St Mirren.
While Reynolds has more top-flight experience, he is unproven in Scotland, but the same case could have been made for Tuur Rommens, who joined from Westerlo.
He is also better going forward than the Nigerian, so it may come down to what Danny Rohl prefers.
Both players appear keen on moving to Ibrox but would want the guarantee of regular playing minutes, so the Gers would have to pick one of them.
