The European football season is well under way, most managers have done the bulk of their shopping, and yet, former Rangers hero Alfredo Morelos is without a club.
This though, could be about to change with a recent report that has claimed the Colombian international is considering making a decision on his future.
After leaving Rangers in May, Alfredo Morelos probably would have thought that he would have had his pick of clubs, however, his agent has now claimed that a move to Russia could be on the cards, as reported by The Herald.

Morelos’s record in the Europa League alone should have been enough for him to get a club in a good league.
Discipline, fitness and form issues have seen the 27-year old’s options limited though and Russia would never previously have been a consideration.
From Rangers to Russia as Alfredo Morelos considers next move
Rangers old number 20 is seriously thinking about heading east though with his agent Martin Camagno providing an update on where Alfredo Morelos could be heading next:
“I am negotiating with several top clubs from Russia who are interested in signing Alfredo Morelos.
“There is a very strong championship in Russia, which Alfredo looks at with great admiration.”

When he was the subject of speculation at Rangers, Alfredo Morelos always talked about the Premier League or La Liga, not the Russian Super League.
He needs to get back playing as soon as possible though because we have all seen what happens when he is inactive.
Only El Bufalo would consider moving to a league that is currently banned from UEFA competition and still involved in a conflict with Ukraine.
What’s the worst that could happen?
