Heart & Hand confirm that Rangers have agreed a six-figure fee for the transfer of Scott Wright to Pendikspor and a move to Turkey this summer.
The Ibrox media partners took to Twitter to claim that Rangers have struck a £500k deal with the Super Lig side and that Scott Wright is now jetting out to Turkey for talks.
This follows up claims in the Scottish Sun which suggested that the 25-year-old former Aberdeen star was nearing a switch to the Turkish outfit.
That report claims that whilst Rangers and Pendikspor have agreed a deal, Scott Wright will wait to discuss terms in Turkey before making his call on the newly promoted side.
The Sun claims that Pendikspor have turned to Scott Wright as they look to build on their promotion to the Super Lig, which came through the second division’s playoffs last season.
The reports come amid much speculation surrounding the future of Scott Wright, who has been extensively linked to the likes of Preston North End in the English Championship this summer.
There was even talk that Al-Ettifaq manager Steven Gerrard might look to bring the winger to Saudi Arabia as investment in the Middle East continues.
Scott Wright lines up move to Turkey
Scott Wright now appears Turkey-bound if the winger can agree a deal with Pendikspor where he could come up against Ryan Kent at Fenerbahce.
Kent, 26, made the switch to Turkey earlier in the summer following the expiration of his contract in Glasgow and will likely be competing at the other end of the Super Lig table.
However, Pendikspor are based in Istanbul so Scott Wright would have an immediate contact in the Turkish capital should he opt to complete a move.

Rangers signed Scott Wright in the January of 2021 after initially agreeing a pre-contract with the then Aberdeen winger, Wright forming part of a swap deal with Pittodrie loanee Ross McCrorie.
Going on to make 84 appearances for Rangers, scoring eight goals and laying on seven assists, highlights of the winger’s time at Ibrox include scoring in the Scottish Cup Final win of 2022 and playing in the Europa League Final days previously.
