Turkish giants Galatasaray have “pressed the button” on their interest in Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos, with the interest to ramp up in the coming weeks.
That’s according to local outlet Takvim, who claim that the out-of-contract Colombian is a key target for the side as they look to bolster their frontline this summer.

The report claims that Galatasaray Okan Burak has identified Alfredo Morelos amid much conjecture surrounding his future at Rangers.
Takvim believe that a “new meeting” is set to be set up in the coming weeks between Morelos and the Turkish Super Lig giants as the club looks ahead to the summer.
There’s been plenty of talk around Alfredo Morelos heading into the summer, with the likes of Sevilla most prominently mentioned and Galatasaray now said to be joining the hunt.
Alfredo Morelos linked to Galatasaray amid Rangers doubts
Rangers manager Michael Beale has also been clear that the striker will need to buck up his ideas if the club are to invest in a new deal for the striker.
The 27-year-old is one of the most highly-paid players at the club and as things stand, the momentum appears to be swinging towards an Alfredo Morelos exit from inside the club and inside the stands.
“Alfredo’s situation is slightly different,” said Beale.
“He has been at the club for a long time and I need to see a little bit more from Alfredo day in, day out.
“When he’s played when the team has needed him, he’s fine – but I want a bit more energy in the final third.
“Can he provide that? If he can then he’s a better option than what he has been the last few months. Everything I’m saying here has been said to him as well.”
The player himself has shown his keenness in the aftermath of the comments, with Alfredo Morelos uploading an image on Instagram of himself at the Gym.
Morelos has played 262 games for Rangers, scoring 122 goals and laying on 58 assists since joining the club from HJK Helsinki in 2017.
