Rangers are said to be hot on the heels of Hungary international Milan Vitalis this summer.
The 24-year-old has been a significantly talked-about target in Scottish football in recent days, with Celtic and Aberdeen also understood to be monitoring his situation as all three clubs look to strengthen their respective squads this summer.
Vitalis contributed an impressive 10 goals and six assists across 41 appearances for Hungarian champions ETO FC in the recently concluded season, and that return has attracted attention from multiple countries and leagues, not just Scotland.
Having previously reported behind-the-scenes movements in the pursuit of Hampus Skoglund, Rangers News can now exclusively reveal the latest state of play regarding the Hungarian’s transfer this summer.

Milan Vitalis is in demand this summer
Sources have confirmed to Rangers News that Vitalis is attracting genuine interest from clubs across multiple countries and leagues this summer.
The midfielder is not short of options this transfer window, but a decision on the direction of travel has yet to be made.
Meanwhile, sources close to the player remained coy about the clubs keen on acquiring his services, refusing to confirm specific teams by name.

The confirmation of multi-country interest, though, aligns with earlier reports linking Vitalis with Celtic, Rangers and Aberdeen, while Czech clubs have also shown interest.
It is understood that any interest is still in the early stages, with sources insisting there is nothing “concrete” yet.
Vitalis has also not made up his mind on where to go, with the player and his entourage seemingly keen to assess all their options before making a decision.
Andrew Cavenagh seems to be working overtime!
This is great news for Rangers… 💪
What it means for Rangers
For Rangers, the picture that emerges is one of genuine competition.
This is not a straightforward pursuit, and the club will need to move decisively if they are to win the race against both their domestic rivals and clubs from further afield.
With Dan Purdy and the recruitment team actively shaping the squad, Vitalis represents an intriguing option, as he is a versatile, goalscoring midfielder.
He does not exactly fit Andrew Cavenagh‘s criteria of being Scottish or having experience winning games in Scottish football, but would be an exciting addition to Danny Rohl‘s squad nevertheless.
