Ryan Kent was quick to agree terms with a new club after leaving Rangers and, even if a move to Fenerbahce was a surprise to some, it looks like one that is already paying off.
Leaving Ibrox never usually ends with a step up the footballing ladder but the Turkish giants share a lot of similarities with the Light Blues.
If there is one way to buy time at a new club it is by scoring goals and Ryan Kent has shown that there is life after Rangers by scoring his first competitive goal for Fenerbahce.

Ryan Kent off the mark for Fenerbahce
When the move to Fener was announced, the chance to play with players like Michy Batshuayi and Edin Dzeko would have been an attractive proposition.
With Dusan Tadic also signing on, Ryan Kent will be forming part of an attack that could be a successful one if Fenerbahce manage to gel.
The early signs are good for Ryan Kent and with the former Rangers forward moving away from the left-hand touchline, he could have more success in front of goal.
On this occasion, it was Dzeko, fresh off last season’s Champions League final, that turned provider as the veteran Bosnian cut the ball back for an on-rushing Kent to power into the net.

Ryan Kent’s biggest problem over the last two seasons at Rangers was his lack of goals, just six in two seasons.
The Gers number 14 was one of the first names on the team sheet, however, if he doesn’t continue to produce the goods for Fener he will soon find himself in the unfamiliar position of having to watch from the sidelines.
He’s bought himself some time with his immediate impact though.
