Dundee FC have finally accepted bids for Luke Graham amid interest from Rangers and clubs in England.

Rangers have prioritised a move for Graham over the past few months, with Dan Purdy scouting the 22-year-old more than once.

The defender has been pushing to leave Dundee in recent weeks, and finally appears to have got his wish.

Portsmouth and Stoke City see Luke Graham bids accepted

Bids from Portsmouth and Stoke City have been accepted as Luke Graham appears set to move to an English club, according to The Courier.

The Scottish defender has left the club’s training camp in Hungary to jet out to the United Kingdom to finalise his move.

Portsmouth and Stoke are said to be leading the race, but there could be other clubs that step up their interest in the coming days.

One thing is for sure, however, and that is Graham will be playing his football in the English Championship next season.

What are your expectations for Dan Neil at Rangers next season?

Dundee will be getting seven figures for the centre-back as a number of clubs matched their asking price.

This comes as a blow for Rangers as he was one of the top transfer targets, given his experience in the Premiership.

The focus for the Light Blues has been to sign local players who have proven themselves in Scotland or bigger leagues.

Which other centre-backs are Rangers linked with?

Now that Graham is surely not moving to Ibrox, it makes sense for the club to evaluate their other targets.

Zalaegerszeg centre-back Akpe Victory has been considered by the hierarchy, but all moves that were made to sign him were done when Danny Rohl was in charge.

Rangers were to launch a £3m bid for Victory as they emerged as frontrunners to sign the 19-year-old, but no progress has been made on the deal so far.

Excelsior’s Casper Widell has admirers at Ibrox, and the 23-year-old could be looking for a new club in the coming weeks.

McInnes will have certain targets of his own as well and will pass the names on to the recruitment team, so the Light Blues could end up pursuing players that have not even been linked so far.
