Dor Turgeman has been linked with a move to Rangers after an impressive season with Maccabi Tel Aviv in Israel.
Reports have suggested that Rangers watched Turgeman score his first goal for Israel in a World Cup qualifying defeat to Norway during the recent international break.
That maiden strike comes amid an impressive season with Maccabi Tel Aviv for Dor Turgeman, the 21-year-old striker lashing in 17 goals already this campaign.
Turgeman has shades of Ollie Watkins, the Aston Villa and England striker one of the Premier League’s most talented marksmen, so it’s little wonder these transfer links have gotten Rangers fans excited.
Now, sources close to the striker have confirmed to Rangers News that the hitman is open to a move to Ibrox, but only if one crucial condition is met.

Dor Turgeman open to Rangers move on crucial condition
Dor Turgeman is reportedly a wanted man with Premier League hopefuls Burnley also watching the Rangers target in action this week.
And it’s the Premier League that the Israeli striker has his eyes on with sources close to Turgeman believing that the hitman has what it takes to play at the highest level.
Rangers News can exclusively reveal that Turgeman is open to a move out of Israel this summer and that the hitman would consider Rangers as a potential option.
Whilst sources would not reveal nor deny if Rangers are interested, it’s believed that Turgeman is assessing his options ahead of next season.
Whilst Turgeman’s £5m valuation has been widely quoted in the Israeli press, any transfer fee could be dependent on which clubs are interested in the player this summer.
Turgeman is also only open to Rangers on the condition that the club are a ‘stepping stone’ to the Premier League or another higher level.
Technical director Nils Koppen knows Rangers must box clever with transfers and that Ibrox cannot be the final destination for high-potential first-team stars like Nicolas Raskin, Jefte, Mohamed Diomande and Hamza Igamane, who are all destined for a higher stage.
“You have to let the players go, also because that’s how you attract them, they come with an ambition to go. We cannot force them to stay,” Koppen explained back in October.
“You have to say to them, come here to be successful and win, but this is not your end station.
”80% of these players who move to the club should come with the ambition to go.
“Ultimately, that is only achieved by winning and progressing so that everyone can benefit – the club and the player.”
Dor Turgeman addresses transfer speculation
The news comes after historic quotes from Dor Turgeman addressing transfer speculation were picked up in the Scottish media.
Turgeman was coy on his future when asked back in September last year, admitting that he was in no rush to leave Maccabi Tel Aviv last summer.
But the hitman has kept the door open over a possible move with Rangers and Burnley links now set to intensify in the coming months.
“I am here and doing the best I possibly can,” Turgeman explained. “What will happen in the future is difficult to know.
“I didn’t deal with the offers that were mentioned, I kept working and focusing on Maccabi Tel Aviv.
“I don’t regret any decision that I take and I don’t think that rushing to move away is a good thing. One has to be dominant here first, in the league, to the lead the team and then we will see.”
