Benie Traore will be a striker in demand this summer with Rangers said to be one of the clubs looking to sign the Ivory Coast youth cap.
The 20-year old has been in blistering form this season with a goal or assist every game and it’s little wonder Michael Beale is said to be keen.
At a reported £4m, Benie Traore won’t be short of offers and his highlights reel shows why Rangers need to get in first.

Is Benie Traore what Michael Beale needs for Rangers?
Before the transfer window opened the Gers gaffer spoke about what he wants to see in his forward line next season:
“When we play in Europe or big games here, EVERY player must take part in every minute of the game. I like forwards who aren’t just in one position. They interchange, move around and have freedom on the pitch.
“Whenever we have done well in Europe, every player took part in all aspects of the game. That is a big thing for me. I want energy, I want speed, I want to see personality in a centre-forward.”
So far, Benie Traore, out of all the strikers that Rangers have been linked with, is the one that most fits this description.
He has Fashion Sakala’s pace but the ability to link play like Kemar Roofe.
With Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos away, the attack needs immediate attention.
The Hacken striker also has something that few Rangers forwards have offered in recent seasons, reliability.
As the video shows, Traore works hard, can create chances for himself and can play intricate passes around a congested box.
He’s not the biggest but, then again, he doesn’t need to be with pace like this.
With Beale preferring to play two strikers together, the signing of Sam Lammers instantly makes sense.
Traore or Cyriel Dessers would both dovetail nicely with the Dutch forward and it’s clear that the Rangers manager has a plan.
With rumours suggesting that a decision could be made on Benie Traore’s future in the next few days, Rangers fans will be hoping that Michael Beale gets the phonecall he has been waiting for.
