Aberdeen manager Barry Robson has confirmed the club are expecting to trade players in and out of the club as Rangers are nudged towards Cape Verde attacker Duk.
Also known as Luis Lopes, the Dons picked up the 23-year-old for nothing from Benfica in the summer but the Portuguese club are believed to boast a solid sell-on fee of any future transfer.

Given that Duk had fired in 18 goals for Aberdeen this season, it’s little wonder Rangers fans were nudging the club towards Luis Lopes earlier in the year.
But with the likes of Premier League-bound Burnley also linked to Duk, Aberdeen manager Barry Robson has been confirming the club’s transfer plans.
Aberdeen preparing for interest amid Rangers Duk nudge
Speaking to the press, the newly appointed permanent Aberdeen boss confirms that the club is expecting quite a busy summer of business.
“We know that we have some loan players, but also have other good players who are contracted,” said Barry Robson.
“We do have some players who want to move on and we understand that.
“But I have been in dialogue with the recruitment team for the last two months, so it is nothing that is new to me or took me by surprise. We have been speaking every day about different players, where we want to go and how we want to recruit.
“We have been doing that for a while and are looking forward to a summer where we can keep some players and take some new ones in, so that we can keep building and bring some stability into the club.
“We just have to make sure that we make the correct decisions and find the right players that we have to recruit.”
Whilst there’s been no official link between Rangers and Duk – and that Aberdeen aren’t exactly our best mates – the player has been a Premiership stand-out this season.
