Rangers fire sale is beginning to hot up, one not born out of financial necessity but because the club needs to be ripped up and rebuilt.
Nils Koppen has drawn up his 14-point recruitment plan and Philippe Clement is fully on board heading in a new, younger and more dynamic direction.
The manager inherited a mess of a squad and players not suited to how he wants to play with Cyriel Dessers the latest to be linked with a move away from Rangers.

Rangers could be receiving bids for Cyriel Dessers
Recent days have seen several Gers stars mentioned as possibly heading out the door.
Sam Lammers looks like he is returning to the Netherlands, Connor Goldson has a few offers on the table and Todd Cantwell has handed in a transfer request.
Add this to the ongoing speculation surrounding James Tavernier and Ianis Hagi and it is easy to see why the Rangers recruitment chief might not be getting much sleep lately.
According to Heart and Hand’s David Edgar, there could be movement on Dessers soon:
“A bid is expected for him (Dessers), there is no timeline on that, but Cyriel Dessers is attracting interest from Serie A, where of course he played before, the French league and, interestingly, Saudi Arabia.
“Rangers are prepared to let him go if the money is right, we will look to recoup at least what we paid for him which was £4.5m and should an offer come in then he would be going because there wouldn’t be an issue with regards to wages for the clubs interested.”
There is a lot of good news there.
Rangers need Dessers deal to reinvest in a new striker
Rangers need as much of the transfer fee paid to Cremonese back as possible.
He might be a high earner at Ibrox, however, for clubs in the top five European leagues and Saudi Arabia, his wage wouldn’t be a problem.
Again, against Birmingham City, we saw why Clement is keen to move him on and get his own striker.
His flick for Scott Wright’s goal was first class, but he also missed three chances when he was one v one with the keeper and another when he was on the edge of the six-yard box and turned back the way instead of trying to shoot.
It’s lazy and easy to say it but, Lawrence Shankland would have taken at least one of those chances
That’s not a demand to sign the Scotland international, but it is an example of how a more natural finisher would make a difference.
With £4.5m burning a hole in their back pocket, Rangers could find a striker who is more clinical, more mobile and more suited to what the manager wants to achieve.
