For once, Philippe Clement has a few good problems to solve when it comes to his Rangers team selection.
Left back, right back, No.9, and two midfield positions are all, seemingly, up for grabs with the squad at almost full strength ahead of Spurs’ visit to Ibrox.
One player who should be starting is Mohamed Diomande, who has shown that he can be integral to Rangers success in more than one role.

Mohamed Diomande deserves his chance against Spurs
Against Nice, the Ivory Coast international put in one of his finest performances in a Light Blue shirt as the main attacking midfielder, including scoring Rangers crucial second goal
He then followed this up against Kilmarnock playing as a No.8 in a more box-to-box role, the position that the 23-year old said was his best shortly after signing for the club.
His skillset allows him to play in either position depending on the opposition with his recent appearances in Light Blue boosting the confidence of a player who had seen question marks about his ability to justify his £4.3m transfer fee.
Who should make way for Diomande?
The temptation for Clement will be to go with the more defensive Connor Barron for the visit of Spurs, however, Diomande’s better technical ability should see him picked alongside Nicolas Raskin.
What this would also do is allow Nedim Bajrami to play at No.10 and for Ridvan Yilmaz to play where he has been seen on a few occasions recently, on the left wing.
Ridvan might be slightly out of position, but it would give Jefte more support without losing any dribbling power or attacking intent.
Against better opposition, players who are comfortable on the ball and who can cause problems make a huge difference.
Diomande is good out of possession, if anything, his work rate and ball winning skills are underrated.
If he is to reach the level that Clement predicted he can reach, this is the sort of game that Diomande needs to make an impact – if he is given the chance to.
