Nicolas Raskin did an interview with Sky Sports Scotland as Rangers visit Parkhead to take on Celtic in the Old Firm derby.

Danny Rohl’s side have little to play for going into the game against their arch-rivals as they are seven points off Hearts in the Scottish Premiership table.

Fans would undoubtedly want a win, as they can get one over Celtic and also all but end their chances of winning the title.

Danny Rohl could leave amid links to RB Salzburg…

Who do you see replacing him?

Nicolas Raskin makes unnecessary comments before a game yet again

Raskin appears to have said the same thing he did ahead of the Hearts clash, which Rangers lost 2-1.

The Belgium international stated that the focus is on regrouping and bouncing back stronger after two devastating results.

Going into the Hearts game, morale was at a low as they had lost 3-2 at home to Motherwell, and they failed to redeem themselves at Tynecastle.

Raskin arguably put in one of his worst performances of the season against Hearts, so his comments about bouncing back yet again are not expected to sit well with the fanbase.

Nicolas Raskin has been linked with a Rangers exit…

The fans are already unsure where his heart is, given reports suggesting he could leave this summer for a Premier League club.

“The last two games have been a big blow for us. Now it’s about regrouping everyone and bouncing back and going for the win.

“The belief was really high and we had two big setbacks.

“Until you win the big thing, mentality is always going to be the question. I think we have done very well to get ourselves back to the title race, but we have not been consistent in the last two games.”

Is Raskin playing his final three games for Rangers?

Raskin is not expected to sign a new Rangers contract, so the club may be compelled to cash in on him this summer.

Thus far, the Gers are yet to receive an offer for the midfielder, but that could change following the World Cup.

The 25-year-old is not only expected to be in Belgium’s squad, but is expected to be a regular starter for the Red Devils.

A good tournament for them would likely mean a good tournament for him, and that would increase the number of eyeballs on the central midfielder.
