Rangers have been seeking out investment in a range of Scottish Premiership talent as we look towards next season.
Starting with Glen Kamara and Jordan Jones, we’ve also reportedly turned our attentions to the likes of Greg Stewart [originally Daily Record] and Jake Hastie. Not to mention rumours swirling about David Turnbull.
But there’s another player who’s links with Ibrox are splitting opinion.

Hearts striker Uche Ikpeazu might pose a risky investment by the club, but he showed why Rangers are interested with his performance this weekend.
The powerful, burly striker has had an up and down season in maroon, but against Hibs, he did what he did best.
Granted, the big striker clumsily gave away a penalty. But Hibs failed to convert it. And even if the Leith side did eventually go in front, Ikpeazu clawed Hearts back into it.

Time and again this season the powerful forward has shown up in big games. His goal in the Edinburgh derby was everything that the player is all about.

Using his strength to completely dominate the defenders, Uche wins the ball and eases it out wide before arriving late to finish. His goal at Easter Road follows on from his opener in Hearts Scottish Cup semi.

Big, strong, powerful and with a knack for scoring important goals, this weekend showed just why both sides of the Old Firm are reportedly interested in the forward.
