Todd Cantwell was not always the most popular figure at Rangers.
One thing that cannot be denied, however, was the fact that he was always seemingly up for an Old Firm derby clash.
That’s not to say the now-Blackburn Rovers midfielder was always man of the match, but the Englishman gave his all when Celts were on the pitch next to him.

Cantwell seemed to feud with most Hoops players as well as Scottish football pundits and it is clear to see that even since he departed Ibrox he still has a love for the club.
The midfielder has spoken of his admiration for Rangers and Cantwell hinted that he could even be tempted to return to the club one day.
Todd Cantwell celebrated Rangers’ win over Celtic
And he took to social media this afternoon for good – for once – to show his feelings again for Rangers after they smashed Celtic in a dominant performance where they cantered to a 3-0 victory over their rivals.
Taking to Instagram, Cantwell shared a snap of himself watching the action on the TV with super-sub Danilo celebrating.
And he captioned it with a blue love heart in what was a simple yet heartwarming post.
It was a class touch from the 26-year-old who has not always endeared himself to the Light Blues faithful with his social media output.
Cantwell this time used his social media output for good
Cantwell’s “shushburger” taunt was certainly not well received following some criticism over his form at the time.
He was also urged in a Rangers News column at the time to do his talking on the pitch after embarrassing himself more than once and being branded by some as Tik Tok Todd.
Still, the playmaker was always talented and on his day could be unplayable as fans saw plenty of times during his stint with the club.
And it is clear to see he still values that time even after bizarre maturity claims from back before his exit.
