If Rangers wanted Lennon Miller, he would already be there. That’s the view of Ross McCormack.
The Motherwell teen sensation has been linked to a variety of clubs and the Fir Park club turned down offers from Union Saint-Gilloise and Udinese in the summer.
A host of Premier League clubs and Celtic have been strongly linked but Rangers have also been mentioned and were told they could get a £15million player for a fraction of the price in the summer.
And Kris Boyd fears Gers will miss out on a talent right under the noses due to all of the interest from abroad.
The latest transfer news on Miller emerging this week is that Celtic, Eintracht Frankfurt, Udinese and USG are the main clubs chasing the 18-year-old.
It would take around £4million to sign the kid after Motherwell rejected offers of around £2.5m in January.

Ross McCormack on Rangers picking Bailey Rice over Miller
Bailey Rice was a youth teammate of Miller as youngsters at Motherwell before being headhunted by Rangers, rated higher at that point.
With Rice on the fringes at Ibrox and Miller a key man at Motherwell, his development has perhaps gone faster.
But Ross McCormack insists there is a reason Gers picked Rice out of the two players at the time, casting doubt on whether they will have an interest in the Well player.
Speaking on Clyde Superscoreboard, he said: “When Rangers come calling as a young kid, you go. So the fact that they wanted Bailey Rice and not Lennon Miller tells me everything. Back then, Rangers could have had their pick.”
Gordon Dalziel reckons the youngster might be better served staying where he is, adding: “Lennon Miller will probably get more of an opportunity at Motherwell, a club like Motherwell like to get their youth through and Lennon Miller obviously shows up in training and they believe that he’s good enough.”
Rangers should still target Miller
Picking a different player ahead of Miller a few years ago shouldn’t necessarily mean they wouldn’t go for the 18-year-old now.
He has clearly blossomed and is already Motherwell’s best player, clearly capable of making the step up. Having benefited from getting a good amount of first team games, he is ripe for the picking.
And with Rangers’ stated aim of signing more domestic talent, he would be the perfect target.
