Steven Gerrard’s latest comments, as quoted by the Daily Record, prove that he’s no Brendan Rodgers.
The latter jumped ship from Celtic yesterday, opting to take up the reigns at Leicester City, instead.

It was a move that shocked many and sent many Celtic fans into meltdown.
However, it seems the Rangers manager has no plans to pull off anything similar.
He’s totally committed to the club.
“I don’t look at the Premier League, I don’t wish I was in the Premier League, I am very happy here”, Gerrard said, as quoted by the Daily Record.
“Rangers is massive. Rangers is huge and that’s the reason why I decided to take this opportunity up. I really appreciate where I sit right now and the job I have here, this is a huge job.”

“But it’s certainly not the case with myself (being attracted by lure of Premier League). I am very happy and settled here and delighted I am the Rangers manager.”
That should be great news for all Bears out there.
Rodgers left Celtic in the lurch yesterday, and created major upheaval at Parkhead.
Rangers supporters can revel in that even more, knowing their own manager is committed to the cause.
Now, to take three points against Dundee and hope Celtic falter at Tynecastle.
