A report in the Glasgow Evening Times claims that Brendan Rodgers has left his role as Celtic manager, in order to take the hot seat at Leicester City.
The same report suggests Neil Lennon is likely to take over at Celtic Park until the end of the season.
It’s a shock move for Rodgers, which, in part, may be borne out of the recent rise of Rangers.

Title race back on?
Many had concluded the title race done and dusted, after the Gers were held at home by St Johnstone, during their last home league match.
With Celtic’s lead a commanding eight points, that stalemate may still prove crucial.
However, this is just the sort of upheaval Rangers needed.

As Rodgers jumps ship, they are approaching three consecutive tough fixtures.
Hearts away in the league, Hibs away in the Scottish Cup and Aberdeen at home, in the league.
Meanwhile, Rangers are coming off the back of two 5-0 victories.

If Gerrard’s men can continue their goalscoring exploits, and Celtic falter over the next week, things could suddenly become very interesting again.
There’s another Old Firm on the horizon, too.
Therefore, with a six-pointer like that coming up, if Rangers can half their current deficit by 31st March, they’ll be in with a real shout.
