With reports suggesting that Celtic Manager Brendan Rodgers is about to join Leicester City (multiple – BBC Scotland), some of the Celtic fan meltdowns have been a joy to behold.
The Schadenfreudist in everyone comes out in times of turmoil for our footballing rivals. It’s our turn to revel in some serious uncertainty at Parkhead. And revel we will.
Rodgers is a good manager and they all know it. Admittedly, so do we. His influence is incredibly difficult to replace and naturally, the Celtic fan meltdowns have reflected this.
From tears and broken hearts, to real anger and cries of “snake”, it’s been a hilarious watch. Sit back, grab some popcorn and get ready to chuckle.

You could honestly go on all day. Even celebrity fans have been chiming in. Rangers fans were in stitches after Rod Stewart told Talksport news “ruined his holiday”. Superb.
The fact the Northern Irishman has now moved on from the club has opened a window of opportunity for Rangers. That’s provided it affects Celtic on the pitch.

Rapturous talk of a treble treble has slowed to a slight hum, as will any chants of 10 in a row. But it’ll only stay that way if it affects the players.
Rangers need to be alert and ready to take advantage of any slip-up. And if they do, the meltdowns could well be ten times worse than these.
