Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos has spoken openly about his “dream” to play in the Premier League [quoted by Daily Record].
This summer, it’s looking increasingly likely the talented Colombian forward will move on. Morelos has said there are “many clubs” interested in his services [Scottish Sun] and an announcement will be made at the right time.
But with interest from France [Foot Mercato] and Spain the most widely reported, in Everton, is there an English side who could really use Morelos’ services?

The Liverpool club are in dire need of a focal point in their side and have a bit of a striker crisis at the moment. They only have two options up front and are expected to invest.
Cenk Tosun, the Turkish forward signed for a whopping £27m, has failed to deliver for the club. In eighteen months at Everton he’s scored eight goals.
Everton will demand value for money
The £16-20m Rangers want for Morelos seems paltry in comparison to Tosun’s fee. Although there’s no suggestion Everton are interested, it seems a wise enough move.
Everton’s other forward, Dominic Calvert Lewin, is a talented England U21 striker and highly rated by the club. He is a complete forward, much like Morelos, and enjoys being physical and scoring goals.
But can he be a real focal point for this Everton side?

Morelos is a real handful for defenders. He’s physical, powerful and an immense goalscorer. He pins defenders and is comfortable playing with his back to goal.
If the player’s dream move to the Premier League is on this summer, there’s probably nowhere he’d fit in better than Goodison Park.
