There was more good news coming out the Rangers Academy as the club signed up youngster Ryan Muir.
It is the youngster’s first professional contract and we’re sure a time of great pride for Ryan and his family.
Signing Ryan, 17, on his first professional contract is also a testament to his ability as a player. He will join up with a range of talented Academy prospects who have managed to secure four trophies this season.

Ryan was also part of the team that travelled to Qatar and picked up the ALKASS Cup.
Rangers beat off competition from the likes of Real Madrid, Paris Saint Germain and AS Roma to become the first British side to win the competition.
Rangers fans followed the tournament closely and passionately congratulated the U17 side on the success.
The young right-back was a big part of that success, and it’s great to see Rangers tying down our best young talent.

The ALKASS Cup was one of four trophies picked up by various Academy sides this season. Rangers also
won the U18s League, the Scottish FA Youth Cup and the Reserve League this campaign.
As a result, the Academy has also qualified for the UEFA Youth League next season. And Ryan Muir will be looking to test himself in these matches against Europe’s best youth sides.
