The Rangers transfer latest suggests that the club could yet make another two new signings before the transfer window slams shut in just over a fortnight’s time.
The Ibrox side have already made nine summer signings in this window but there could yet be more to come into the side as Michael Beale gears up for a title tilt.
Kieran Dowell, Dujon Sterling and Jack Butland have joined on pre-contracts, whilst the additions of Sam Lammers, Abdallah Sima (loan), Cyriel Dessers, Leon Balogun, Danilo and Jose Cifuentes have followed.

Talking about the latest Rangers transfer news Michael Beale claims that one more outgoing move – believed to be that of Glen Kamara – will even up the club’s summer spend.
Over 1000 appearances also walked out the door when Allan McGregor, Filip Helander, Scott Arfield, Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos came to the end of their contracts.
Malik Tillman has since returned to Bayern and moved to PSV Eindhoven, with Matuesz Zukowski, Lewis Mayo, Antonio Colak and Fashion Sakala also exiting permanently.
Rangers transfer latest points to double move
Now, the Rangers manager claims the Ibrox side are one player light in the attacking areas with all attentions focused on who might replace Ryan Kent in Govan.
In his latest Rangers transfer comments, Beale claimed that the club are in market for another attacker and also touched on the club’s defensive interests.
Long-term target and Millwall centre-back Jake Cooper heads the list of potential defender options with Michael Beale admitting the club will move in the position if the right player becomes available.
“There’s a lot of speculation about it,” Beale said when asked about the latest transfer news on defensive reinforcements.
“The two players who are not fit at the moment, Ben and Ridvan, will return to training this week.
“Dujon Sterling has looked like a steam train in training but it’s about looking for that moment.
“I want some consistency in the team right now. I think that will benefit everyone, a little bit of consistency, so you are only rotating through tiredness or injury at the moment.
“But look, it’s an area we may look to do something. We’re speaking to different players. But at this moment in time I’ve got to make sure it makes us stronger.

“The options I’m looking at, their teams don’t want to lose them either.
“If you look at the forward areas, we lost Malik, Antonio, Morelos, Kent and Fashion Sakala.
“We’ve lost five and brought four in. You’re hoping Kemar or Tom Lawrence will make a massive impact this year, that they weren’t able to do last year.
“The one area we’re probably a little bit light is someone like a Ryan Kent. Whether we’ll get there between now and the end of the window, or do we find that within in our squad? Time will tell. “
Whatever happens, the Rangers transfer latest promises a busy few weeks in Glasgow and we’ll be keeping a close eye on all the moves both in and out of Ibrox.
