Rangers may have brought in nine players already in this transfer window but it doesn’t look like Michael Beale is fully content with his summer shopping.
A new forward line has been built, however, there is one departure that the Gers gaffer feels that he hasn’t properly replaced yet – Ryan Kent.
Speaking ahead of today’s game with Livingston, Rangers fans were given some exciting news after Michael Beale revealed that there could yet be further additions, as reported by The Scotsman.

Kent maybe didn’t score the goals that we wanted him to other than the title winning season.
His biggest asset was his ball carrying skills and ability to, almost, single handedly get the Rangers attack higher up the pitch.
Todd Cantwell has a similar ability and played his best football in Kent’s role but it is clear that Beale wants to play him deeper.
Rangers could get cheque book out if Michael Beale gets his way
With Rangers looking far from clinical in the early stages of the season, Michael Beale suggested that he might yet go back into the market:
“The one area we’re probably a little bit light is someone like a Ryan Kent. Whether we’ll get there between now and the end of the window, or do we find that within our squad, time will tell.
“But I believe this team and these players will come good. It’s got a different look to it. It’s got a different feel to it. We’ve got to allow that to play out.”

There is a good mix of forwards but, with Ryan Kent and Fashion Sakala away and Scott Wright and Rabbi Matondo both linked with moves away, it doesn’t take a genius to work out the skillset that is needed.
Against Kilmarnock and Servette, as soon as they sat in, Rangers ran out of ideas.
James Tavernier and Borna Barisic are still good players but they will never be the type of full-bacls to consistently beat their opposite number.
If Rangers do bring someone else in, one thing is for certain, Michael Beale has to find someone who will score more goals than the three combined that Kent, Wright and Matondo accumulated last season.
