As Rangers boss Michael Beale looks to replace the influence of Ryan Kent, Ibrox-linked Aris winger Luis Palma remains at the Greek Super League side this summer.
The Gers boss has claimed that the club is one short in the attacking area of the park following the exits of Ryan Kent, Alfredo Morelos, Antonio Colak, Fashion Sakala and Malik Tillman this summer.
In have come Sam Lammers, Abdallah Sima, Cyriel Dessers and Danilo with the Ibrox boss claiming that the club is a “bit light” in that area of the park.
With a couple of weeks still to go in the transfer window, Rangers fans are now musing over who Michael Beale might be targeting with Luis Palma a name very familiar to the Ibrox support.

Luis Palma can answer Rangers transfer plea
Whilst there have been no fresh report surrounding the Honduran international winger, Palma’s name is one which had been closely attached to the Gers earlier in the summer.
There had been extensive reporting in the Greek and Scottish press regarding Rangers interest, with some reports even claiming the Gers had a bid thrown out.
Since then, the transfer trail has certainly gone cold but now Rangers are looking to reinvest in their forward areas and capture the spark which has been lost by Ryan Kent’s switch to Fenerbahce.
Certainly a player in the Ryan Kent mould, Latin American attacker Luis Palma scored 11 Super League goals last season and amid those Rangers links has even been mentioned alongside Man United.

Most recently, English Championship Stoke City have been linked to the attacker with reports claiming that a deal can be struck for £3.5m.
Whilst it remains unclear if Rangers still harbour an interest in Luis Palma, the winger is certainly someone who fits the bill as far as Michael Beale’s most recent transfer comments are concerned.
Young, unpredictable and with an eye for goal which Ryan Kent lost towards the end of his Ibrox career, Luis Palma certainly represents an option for Rangers as the club look to make one more attacking purchase.
