Rangers will be paid £4m in compensation for Danny Rohl
One source has told Rangers News that the Gers have agreed a deal with RB Salzburg that will see them receive £4m in compensation for their manager.
It seemed an eventuality that the two parties would reach an agreement, as there was an incentive to make this go through.
Rohl, for his part, did not push for an exit, but is open to leaving Ibrox to become part of the Red Bull staple once again.
What would your concerns be about Derek McInnes replacing Danny Rohl?
Rangers have begun plans to hire a new manager, but it is understood that Derek McInnes is the priority option.
Rangers News has learned that it would take £1.5m to prise him away from Hearts as he still has three more years left on his deal.
The Gers have made contact with Hearts to speak to McInnes and will now hold conversations with their former player over a return to Ibrox.

Andrew Cavenagh and Jim Gillespie could meet Derek McInnes in the United States
Andrew Cavenagh and Jim Gillespie are both in Boston to watch the World Cup game between Scotland and Haiti in the early hours of Sunday morning UK time.
McInnes will also be at the game, but talks are not expected to take place inside the Boston Stadium.
However, that does not mean that the Gers duo would not sit with the Hearts boss on Sunday or the coming days to discuss a potential move to Ibrox.
How many league goals will Shankland score for Rangers next season?
He could fire Rangers to a domestic treble!
With Rohl’s exit now set in stone, they can push for the appointment of the 54-year-old.
McInnes has previously been linked with the job, and even turned it down after Rangers made an approach to hire him in 2017.
It seems that he is open to joining the Gers this time around, but an agreement is yet to be reached.
