Clearing up uncertainty about his future, a Rangers player has taken to Instagram to nail his colours to the Ibrox mast.
There has been plenty of talk about Niko Katic in recent months.

Earlier this summer, it was reported that Serie A side Spezia were lining up a loan swoop [Croatian Football News] before a subsequent report asserted that the 6ft 4″ defender had no intention of going anywhere [Glasgow Live].
Then, on Saturday night, just days after Katic stepped up his return from a serious knee injury with a Challenge Cup outing for the B team, the Scottish Sun reported that the Gers had told him to find a new club, prompting a furious reaction from some fans.
Club insider David Edgar of Heart & Hand cleared things up on Sunday, asserting that both Rangers and Katic are exploring a possible loan exit to allow him to get regular minutes under his belt.
That would appear to be a sensible option as with Connor Goldson, Filip Helander, Leon Balogun and Jack Simpson all also currently at Ibrox, his playing time would be limited in the short-term, but he is likely to be required next season with Goldson and Balogun’s current deals expiring in the summer.

And now, the player himself has taken to Instagram to have his say.
Katic posted a photo of him celebrating a goal for Rangers in front of Steven Gerrard and captioned it “Many more like this to come,” followed by wink face and Union Jack emojis and ‘#watp’.
It’s still very possible that the fan favourite will head out on loan before the end of the window, but he’s made it abundantly clear here that his long-term future is at Ibrox.
He’s contracted until 2023, after extending his initial deal in 2019, and his determination to add to his current tallies of 59 Rangers appearances and six goals will be well-received by supporters.
Bears have also expressed their delight after an important domestic cup update was provided by the club.
