Rangers’ move for Brighton’s Senegalese international forward Abdallah Sima is a “confirmed go” according to leading club insider Four Lads Had a Dream.
Taking to social media, the popular Rangers media partner has reiterated mounting reports around Abdallah Sima and claims an announcement is set towards the end of this week.
Four Lads claims the loan deal has been agreed with the player, with Rangers set to become the attacker’s third loan club since agreeing a £7m move to Brighton in 2021.
Abdallah Sima has also had short-term stints with Stoke City in the English Championship and Angers in Ligue 1, even if both have been badly disrupted by injury.
Rangers fans will be more familiar with Abdallah Sima from his time with Slavia Prague, the four-times capped Senegal forward impressing in that infamous Europa League quarter final clash with Slavia Prague.
Rangers close in on Abdallah Sima switch
Regarded as one of the best sources on all news Rangers, with Four Lads Had a Dream tweeting this it’s safe to assume that the Gers are firmly in front of the Abdallah Sima move and it is an exciting transfer for the club.
The Gers are on the hunt for additional firepower this season after a lack of cutting edge in the final third and an overreliance on underperformers cost the club their brief stint of domestic dominance.
Out have went Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos, who let the fans down badly with a series of dreadful displays last season, and in has come Atalanta striker Sam Lammers.

Abdallah Sima looks set to be the next forward announced by Rangers at Ibrox but the club’s business is anything but done heading into the new season.
There have also been reports that Rangers have had an opening bid rejected for Feyenoord’s Brazilian striker Danilo, with the Ibrox side expected to continue negotiating over the 24-year-old this week.
