Danny Rohl appears to be closing in on his Rangers exit as talks are ongoing with RB Salzburg.
Jurgen Klopp is pushing to bring Rohl to the Austrian club as the former Liverpool manager holds a prominent position at the Red Bull group.
Rangers have a list of replacements ready and would likely be touching base with them over the coming days.
How long will Danny Rohl be at Rangers?
Andrew Cavenagh has confirmed he will not be sacked ahead of the new season…
Steven Clifford expects Danny Rohl to leave Rangers
Steven Clifford, who runs the Four Lads Had a Dream blog, has been a reliable insider at Ibrox for a number of years.
In his view, Rohl is expected to leave as talks have been held over multiple days to negotiate compensation for him.
While he is not the one who is angling for an exit, the fact that Rangers have been open to him leaving suggests that an exit is more likely at this stage.

Clifford wrote on X: “I’ll say further
“I don’t have any idea who will be manager. I firmly believe Rohl is gone though. Who’s next, I don’t know.
“I’d be happy with Gerrard or McInnes.”
Which of these three managers would you prefer at Rangers?
We believe Derek McInnes is the right man for the job…
What will Derek McInnes and Steven Gerrard bring to the table?
Derek McInnes and Steven Gerrard are both prominent candidates to take over from Rohl this summer.
Both managers play contrasting styles of football, but there are some similarities in their management styles.
McInnes and Gerrard are both good at rebuilding sides, motivating players, and bringing youngsters through the ranks to make them first-team players.
What would your concerns be about Derek McInnes replacing Danny Rohl?
Where they differ is that the Hearts manager is known to deploy a pragmatic brand of football that prioritises grinding out games and making the most of set pieces.
The caveat is that he has usually been at teams that are not expected to win the league, so the underdog mentality has worked at previous clubs, but he will need to change if he’s hired by Rangers.
Gerrard, on the other hand, focuses on attacking football with full-backs playing high up the pitch.
There have been doubts over his tactical nous as his teams have looked open without the ball, something he will need to work on in his second stint at Ibrox.
