BBC Scotland chief sportswriter Tom English isn’t exactly a fan favourite at Rangers.
The outspoken commentator, who specialises more in rugby than football, has had regular run-ins with the club in his role at the BBC.
Not least when the Rangers SLO demanded an apology for disgraceful comments made by English [Rangers SLO] in the wake of a crush at Rugby Park at the start of the season.
It resulted in a complaint against English being upheld by the BBC and thankfully us Rangers fans haven’t been subjected to as many of his Celtic fawning soundbites and his Rangers bashing analysis as a result.
But English has taken to Twitter to wade in on the Alfredo Morelos transfer debate currently raging at Ibrox.
Rangers boss Steven Gerrard reiterated comments made by Dave King that the club would be encouraged to reject offers of even £40m for Alfredo Morelos.
The Ibrox boss even went a step further when he warned clubs away by saying that even a £50m offer wouldn’t be enough to tempt the club to part with the Colombian [Daily Record].
Naturally, English disagrees with any price tag, and Gers fans couldn’t resist reacting to his comments.

The tweets of Tom English aren’t the only ones which have caught the eye of Rangers fans today either.
