Rangers fans might’ve been generally surprised by the valuations attached to their stars in a special Daily Record feature yesterday.
The Scottish news outlet ranked the Ibrox side’s stars values to the tune of £80.05m with only Alfredo Morelos (£20m) breaching the eight-figure mark.
Whilst we were slightly more generous in our valuations of Rangers’ biggest stars, the Record were more generous with how they ranked our Celtic rivals across the city.

The Record rank Celtic’s admittedly bigger and more bloated squad at £115.25m.
Granted, our rivals across the city have had a clean sweep of the last 10 domestic trophies but there will be little argument over how well-matched the sides are this season.
Kris Ajer (£10m), Calum McGregor (£18m) and Odsonne Edouard (£30m – yup, that figure again) are all given gargantuan ratings.
Whilst much of what the Record says about both side’s squad values is fair enough, many Rangers fans believe this is all a little over-zealous.
The club’s supporters have been quick to respond on Twitter.

Rangers fans clearly don’t agree with much of what the Daily Record are saying but then again you imagine it’ll be much the same with their valuations on the other side.
Rangers themselves believe the value of the club’s squad could reach upwards of £100m following the commission of a report from new sporting director Ross Wilson.
