Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has rubbished reports linking midfielder Graham Dorrans to Kilmarnock and Rugby Park.

Dorrans, 32, was linked to Rugby Park earlier the week [Daily Record] with the former Norwich and West Brom midfielder deemed surplus to requirements at Ibrox.

But Steven Gerrard has claimed that the club have – categorically – not received a single offer for the injury-ravaged former Scotland international.

“We haven’t had a call, we haven’t had one call over Graham Dorrans,” said Gerrard.

Dorrans, who has a year remaining on his contract, is one of four players still at Ibrox who Gerrard will be hoping to ship out before Monday’s deadline.

Graham Dorrans joined Rangers to much fanfare back in 2017 whilst the club was under the stewardship of Pedro Caixinha, but it looks like he won’t be moving to Kilmarnock.

The midfielder has over 140 Premier League appearances and 12 Scotland caps.

But it just hasn’t happened for the likeable player since he joined Rangers, with injuries disrupting his two-and-a-bit years at Ibrox.

Graham Dorrans isn’t the only player who Steven Gerrard claimed is set to stay at Ibrox, yet at least.

The Rangers boss said none of his top stars will be sold ahead of the window’s closure, suggesting Alfredo Morelos is set to stay at the club [Rangers] after speculation this summer.
