Rangers midfielder Graham Dorrans is a loan target for Scottish Premiership rivals Kilmarnock, according to the Daily Record.

The diehard bluenose’s time at the club has been ravaged by injury and now – with six or seven players in front of him in the pecking order – it looks like his Rangers chance has gone.

But by heading to Rugby Park, Dorrans, 32, could still do his bit to boost the club’s title bid.

Should Dorrans make the move to Ayrshire, he’ll be going up against Rangers’ league rivals on a weekly basis.

If the former Norwich and West Brom playmaker can find his feet and form for Killie, Dorrans could have a big say against the Aberdeens and Celtics of the league.

The news that Kilmarnock are interested in loaning Dorrans comes after reports suggested Rangers were open to any offers for the player [Scottish Sun].

Dorrans, who has a year remaining on his contract, is one of four players still at Ibrox who Gerrard will be hoping to ship out before Monday’s deadline.

The midfielder has over 140 Premier League appearances and 12 Scotland caps.

But it just hasn’t happened for the likeable player since he joined Rangers, with injuries disrupting his two and a bit years at Ibrox.
