In a boost for Rangers, key player Borna Barisic has been spotted in training ahead of Sunday’s Premiership fixture against Hibernian [Rangers.co.uk].
While no official update had been provided by the club, there had been some concern about the fitness of the 28-year-old following international duty.

That’s because he didn’t make the 20-man matchday squad for last weekend’s Scottish Cup third round clash against Cove Rangers, nor did he feature in a training gallery released by the club on Wednesday.
However, it looks as though he will be available to face the Hibees at Ibrox on Sunday afternoon after he was snapped in training on Friday.
The Croatia international can be seen in several photos wearing an orange bib [Rangers.co.uk], while he can also be spotted taking part in drills in a RangersTV training video.
Calvin Bassey did a good job at left-back against Cove, but Barisic is the undisputed no.1 in the position and is highly likely to start against Hibs.

He’s made a whopping 45 appearances in all competitions so far this season, scoring five goals and notching an impressive 13 assists, with his quality deliveries from the left flank a key source of chances for the club’s strikers.
Meanwhile, Rangers have reportedly made contact with an EFL club regarding a pacy winger.
