Nicolas Raskin has reacted on Instagram after Rangers confirmed a key exit this week amid big changes at Ibrox.

The Belgian midfielder is currently at the World Cup, coming off the bench in his side’s 1-1 draw against Egypt.

It remains to be seen if he is given the start for the next one, as he did have an influence in the second period of that contest.

Nicolas Raskin has been linked with a Rangers exit…

Nicolas Raskin sends farewell message to Danny Rohl

Raskin sent a farewell message to Danny Rohl as Rangers confirmed his exit on Wednesday.

The German manager has accepted the role of RB Salzburg head coach after a compensation agreement had been reached.

The Light Blues moved quickly to appoint Derek McInnes as the manager, and he will guide the team going into the 2026/27 season.

Now that Danny Rohl has left Rangers, how would you rate his time at the club?

Raskin, who looked set to leave when Russell Martin was in charge, ended up staying and was handed a key first-team role under Rohl.

The German took the midfielder’s game to the next level and he soon became one of his first names on the team sheet.

Rohl reshared Raskin’s story on Instagram in which the Gers midfielder wrote: “Thank you for everything gaffer. It’s been a real pleasure to work with you.”

Will Raskin follow Rohl out the door at Rangers?

Rangers News exclusively reported that Raskin would like an Ibrox exit in the coming weeks as he has begun to consider his options.

The Light Blues hold a significant advantage in terms of negotiations and will be delighted that there are a number of clubs that could be interested and afford what they want for him.

While McInnes would not be open to losing one of his best players, he will understand if the money is too good to turn down.

Which Hearts player(s) would you like to see at Rangers next season?

Derek McInnes may be tempted to sign one or two this summer!

Also, the Scotsman is unlikely to want a player who is not fully committed, and if not this summer, will angle for another move a year later.

As things stand, an exit is more likely than Raskin staying at Ibrox for next season.

His future will likely be sorted after the World Cup, but he does seem to be someone who will be following Rohl out the door.
