Former Rangers manager Michael Beale has taken to Instagram to brand the club “class as always” for their Remembrance Day display against Hearts.

The Ibrox side are famed for their displays of Remembrance at this time of year with manager Philippe Clement joining chairman John Bennett, several of the club’s directors, and members of the armed forces to lay a wreath outside the stadium before the clash with the Edinburgh side.

Rangers fans also unveiled a special tifo across the Sandy Jardine Stand which read “Lest We Forget” and it’s this which has caught the eye of Michael Beale on Instagram.

Taking to the stories section of the platform on Sunday 29th October, Beale shared an image of the display and wrote:

“Class as always. Nobody does it better.”

Michael Beale takes to Instagram to praise Rangers

Michael Beale takes to Instagram a few months on from his sacking at Rangers with new manager Philippe Clement enjoying a bright start in his place.

Rangers have now won both of the Belgian’s Scottish Premiership matches in charge after a late show against Hearts had the ex-Monaco boss praising his side’s mentality.

That 2-1 victory followed on from a 4-0 drubbing against Hibs and – coupled with Celtic dropping points away at Easter Road – cut the gap at the top of the Scottish Premiership to five points.

Michael Beale has come in for heavy fire from some sections of the Rangers support for his work in the transfer market in the summer and in several high profile failures this season.

A drubbing at the hands of PSV Eindhoven, along with defeats to Kilmarnock, Celtic and Aberdeen, had the writing on the wall for the manager who very much appeared out of his depth.

Whilst the coach continues to post on Instagram, a spat with Rangers supporters on the platform formerly known as Twitter forced the coach to deactivate his account.

As the dust settles on the coach’s time at Rangers, Beale is also said to be out of the running for another top job in the English Championship.
